Young Appraisal Company, Inc. is a leader when it comes to technology

At Young Appraisal Company, Inc., we have a confession to make: We are technology junkies. From smart phones, to laptops, GPS, you name it. Call us geeks. Call us nerds. Call us what you will, but by all means, call us at (817) 428-9776 for appraisal orders in Tarrant County! Why? We're glad you asked.

While appraisal fees haven't necessarily gone up over the years, the demands placed on individual appraisers have. We offer the highest quality appraisals, and cutting corners goes against our core values. So, the logical place to save time is in our daily workflow. We strive to be the very best, and we've found that keeping up with new technology allows us to provide more comprehensive reports, quicker turnaround times and excellent customer service.

Looking for an appraiser that knows how to use technology to their advantage? Contact Young Appraisal Company, Inc. today!

Take a look at how Young Appraisal Company, Inc. makes ordering easier

Way back when, a great deal of orders were ordered via fax and were confirmed with phone calls once we arrived at the office. It might be hours before a client even knew if we could do the order. These days, when orders are entered on this website, we receive an e-mail on our phones. We can even log into this site from the field and send back an e-mail confirmation – including the time and date for the inspection if we've been able to talk to the occupant.

Young Appraisal Company, Inc. understands that real estate is all about timeliness. We don't make you wait around for replies because we understand the speed at which we get things done directly effects your bottom-line. Through features on this website, we can actually speed up the entire appraisal process.

Using Technology in the Field

Gathering the data for an appraisal is a demanding process. We spend quite a bit of time obtaining the facts on the subject property and the local market data and trends. Young Appraisal Company, Inc. takes advantage of technology to close the gap once again.

Instead of using paper forms and pencils and then re-keying all the information back at the office, don't be surprised to see us with a tablet PC or collecting data using an application created for our phones that even lets us sketch a floorplan right on site. Rather then using that clumsy old tape measure, a larger percentage appraisers are starting to use laser measuring devices that are quicker, more accurate, and can get into places that normal tape measures have always had problems with.

All of this technology ensures that the final report is as comprehensive and accurate as possible. This works to both our advantages by requiring less time for call-backs and revisions. A real money saver for busy appraisal clients.

Here at Young Appraisal Company, Inc. we make sure you have more options to receive your report.

Delivery of appraisals as PDF files through e-mail is definitely the standard these days. Most of our clients prefer e-mail because we're all accustomed to getting attachments like PDFs in our mail. It's much more efficient than the old days before e-mail. But, we've even been able to improve on e-mail with report delivery with this website.

Everyone knows how frustrating it is to lose a file. Or have you ever had problems sending or receiving an e-mail because of the file size? We have the technology to overcome those problems, too.  When we deliver an appraisal through this website, the client is e-mailed a download link to retrieve the PDF. By bypassing email completely we can get around any problems caused by file size. And the best thing is that the file will be hosted on this site for 90 days. So if anything happens to the file, you can log back in here and retrieve it again without even calling us or waiting for us to get to a computer so we can send it again.

Digital Workfile Technology

It would probably be easier if appraisers could never have to think about an assignment again after writing and giving it to the client. However, appraisals are employed to demonstrate the condition of a property on the inspection date. Therefore, appraisers are required by law to keep their reports for 5 years in case any disputes or other matters arise regarding the property.

Here again, Young Appraisal Company, Inc. leverages our investment in technology to improve service. By storing every aspect of the appraisal - notes, sketches, supporting documentation and calculations - along with the appraisal electronically, we're able to retrieve that report at any time and recall just what that assignment was about.

These are just a few examples of how we use technology daily. Using the right tools, along with the appraisal know-how that you've grown to expect allows the appraiser to deliver reports quicker, more efficiently and with higher degrees of accuracy.
